A photographic journey through some of Afghanistan’s most fascinating and significant locations: Kabul, Bamyan, Mazar-i-Sharif, Ghazni, and Kandahar.

I have personally visited all of these areas, spending extensive time on the ground and building a network of trusted local contacts over the years. This allows me to organize the journey with people I know personally and who understand the nature of our work, providing an essential level of security and logistical support in a complex country such as Afghanistan.

From a photographic perspective, this journey offers extraordinary opportunities: from everyday life in the markets and streets of Kabul to the landscapes and ancient history of Bamyan, and the unique atmospheres of Mazar-i-Sharif, Ghazni, and Kandahar. We will have the opportunity to connect with people, communities, and realities that are often difficult to access for those visiting the country for the first time, with the aim of telling the story of Afghanistan in an authentic and respectful way, beyond stereotypes.
